Myanmar passport holders cannot obtain a visa on arrival in the UAE. A visa must be issued before you travel. Through 2026 the authorities have applied a fuller documentation review to Myanmar applications, so allow longer than the headline processing time and apply at least four weeks before departure.
A tourist visa may be extended once inside the UAE, but the total stay cannot exceed 90 days including the extension. Overstaying carries a daily fine and can affect later applications.
Passport valid six months beyond entry, a recent white-background photograph, six months of stamped bank statements, confirmed return ticket, hotel booking or host details, proof of occupation, and travel medical insurance for the whole stay. Individual categories ask for more — the checklist on each visa type lists exactly what.
