How to apply for a Visa & Requirement

1. Single Entry Visa application for the categories mentioned below are COMPULSORY to apply through e-Visa online portal.

Visa Requirement – Tourist/Social Visit

    Request/Invitation Letter (Addressed to Embassy, self-writing OR letter from invitor - Name and ID/MyKad/Passport Number attached OR Myanmar Company Recommended Letter OR Malaysia Company Invitation Letter - Official Company Letterhead)

    Religious Person’s identity card original and copy & Recommendation letter from Ministry of Religious Affairs & Recommendation letter from the head of present living monastery (Monk ONLY)

    Myanmar Stay Visa/Stay Permit or Any Long Term Pass (For others nationality) – Applicant who holding Myanmar Social Visa strictly not eligible to apply Visa at Malaysia Embassy in Yangon

* Visa approval is entirely subject to the Immigration Attaché assessment of the applicant and the appropriate qualification of all documents attached
* All visa fees are non-refundable

2. Malaysian Visa applications go through the Malaysia Visa Centre designated by the Malaysian Embassy.

    Valid Company Registration (DICA) and Company Director List

    Proof Sufficient funds (Bank Statement/Traveler Cheque/Debit or Credit Cards/e-Wallets recognized by Malaysian Government) to cover your expenses during your stay in Malaysia

Noted:
* The granting of Multiple Entry Visa (3 & 6 month) is entirely subject to the Immigration Attaché assessment of the applicant and the appropriate qualifications. There is no guarantee that the applicant will obtain the approval as requested.

4. DIPLOMAT/OFFICIAL/UN  - Passport submit their applications directly to the Embassy of Malaysia.

Photo Specification

  • 👉 Non glossy photo
    👉 White background
    👉 Dark/black clothes
    👉 Hair must be tied, not covering the face, forehead and ears
    👉 No wear glasses, accessories, earing, necklace, piercing
    👉 No show teeth/smile
